Life.Church
“A church isn’t a building – it’s the people.” In 1996, Life.Church began in Oklahoma City with 40 congregants meeting together “in a two-car garage, equipped with just a borrowed overhead projector and two construction lights purchased at Lowe’s for $19.99.” The church membership grew rapidly, acquired its first facility and, in 2001, merged with MetroChurch, a nearby 25-year-old, nondenominational congregation. Today, Life.Church operates in over 25 locations across the United States.
Wallace has provided structural and civil engineering services for new, single-story churches ranging in size from 30,000 to 42,000 square feet. The facilities include a worship center and a children’s area. The church service format features the pastor preaching each service by video on large screens from Edmond, Oklahoma, and broadcast to each location. Each campus has a full staff, campus pastor, children and youth pastor, small groups pastor and worship team. We have provided services for new construction, renovations and additions on multiple campuses throughout Oklahoma, Texas, Kansas, Tennessee and Florida.
